Trust & safety
Built for trust.
Safety and privacy tools are free for every member, always. Here is how they work, and what they cannot do.
18+ only
Every member confirms their date of birth. Report anyone you believe is under 18 and we act on it urgently.
Private by default
Phone numbers, emails and exact locations are never shown. Profiles show city and country only.
Chat after consent
Messages are only possible after you both connect. Vibes go only to matches you choose.
Report and block
Available on every profile, chat and Vibe. Blocked members can't find or contact you, and they aren't told.
What verification badges mean
Each badge names the exact check that was completed. "Phone verified" means the member confirmed they control that phone number. A badge does not prove someone's identity or intentions. Always use your own judgement.
Reporting
You can report a profile, photo, message or Vibe for: fake profile or impersonation, harassment or unwanted contact, threats, hate or discriminatory abuse, scams or money requests, spam or suspicious links, inappropriate content, suspected underage account, sharing private content without consent, or anything else. Our team reviews reports, prioritising threats and suspected minors. The person you report is never told who reported them.
Never send money
No genuine match needs your money, bank details, gift cards, crypto or identity documents. If anyone asks, report them, even if the story sounds convincing.
Meeting in person
- Get to know each other in the app first, and take your time.
- Meet in a busy public place and arrange your own transport.
- Tell a friend or family member where you're going and who you're meeting.
- Keep personal details such as your home address private until you're comfortable.
- Leave whenever you feel uneasy. You never owe anyone a date.
If you are in danger
Dil Punjab is not an emergency service. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency number (for example 112 in India and Europe, 911 in Canada and the US, 999 in the UK, or 000 in Australia).
